I would still recommend going and we will be back as well.2,500+ Brands organized into over 80 Industry Groups Like I said we had an overall great day, I just hate that I’m stuck worrying over raw chicken. We didn’t complain about the corn, and we ate it, it just wasn’t as good as usual. They had toppings like ranch powder, tajin spice, Parmesan cheese but they were all like solid blocks in their containers. I’m just hoping I don’t get sick!! The roasted corn wasn’t really roasted this year, no grill marks.basically just steamed corn. They were nice about it and refunded our money. The guy working there told me he checked the temp and it was done, but I showed him it was raw. Luckily I tested the chicken and noticed it was raw at the stick before I gave it to my kids. We ordered chicken on a stick for the kids and roasted corn for us. Nothing was really good like it normally is. We usually enjoy the food here, kind of like carnival fare. Overall we had a blast! I do have to mention some negatives though. My kids enjoyed the grounds, the rides, the paint ball and corn maze. Staff are awesome, everyone is very friendly!! The port-o-pot bathrooms while not my favorite are very well maintained and clean. I liked the layout better this year as well with the rides. The car show was great, they have good participation. I want to start with the positive.this place is great for families! My kids have a blast every year and didn’t notice any of the negatives I’ll mention later. I just was not impressed considering the distance and cost. But the handicap spaces would have substantially helped. Yes they were kind and let me park closer. I was told the handicap parking were reserved for buses. I had a pregnant wife and two little girls. Fourth, their idea of restrooms were filthy port-a-potties. However, I was asked to slide with my daughter who is roughly the same height and weight - and I weight more that the mother. ![]() Another adult wanted to slide with her daughter. Third, the policies are not enforced consistently. I would appreciate knowing most of the rides and concessions were closed. Second, more that half of the park was closed because it was during the week. The young girls scolded me for not clarifying when I called that I was visiting during the week. I do not understand why credit cards were only accepted on weekends. This is true except they are only accepted on weekends. First, I understood they accepted credit cards are/were accepted. ![]()
